Veikkola is a luxurious and cozy log cabin, which is located by the beautiful lake Hautaperä. The cabin contains a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a sleeping loft. With the extension completed in 2016, Veikkola now meets the resident’s needs even better. The extension features the master bedroom, an additional kitchen, a bathroom, a shower and a sauna.

Veikkola has a lakeside sauna, which was fully renovated in 2020. There is a Drop design hot tub and a private beach at the lakeside sauna. It is also possible to stay overnight at the sauna during the summer.

Things to do at Veikkola?

There are plenty! Take a refreshing dip in the lake from your own private shore, enjoy a rowing trip, or fire up the grill – all this awaits you here. Our absolute highlight is the Drop Design hot tub embedded in the terrace of the lakeside sauna – could relaxation get any easier?

At summer

The beach with its hot tub is an absolute favorite for both children and adults. You can start fishing right from the shore with a rod or take the rowboat out further. Both cottages are equipped for versatile cooking, and the large terraces provide plenty of space for the whole group to enjoy meals together.

At fall

Pick berries in peace at excellent spots! The berry picking areas start right outside the cottages and offer the best for both blueberry and lingonberry lovers.

At winter

There’s plenty to do even in winter. You can go skiing either on the frozen lake or at the nearby Pitkänkangas fitness trail. Ice fishing spots are located just a short distance from the cottage.

Outdoor activities

The surroundings of the cottages offer excellent running routes along sandy roads or through the forest. For those seeking peace and quiet, the Finnish lakeside scenery itself is a perfect escape from everyday life. Ketola cottages and their environment have something for everyone – all year round!
