IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Hot tubs are rented separately. If you wish, we can heat the hot tub ready for use for a small additional fee.
Never light the stove when the hot tub is empty or only partially filled. Heating a partially filled hot tub will cause the stove to melt!
The hot tub must always be filled at least 5 cm above the upper water circulation hole before lighting the stove.
The recommended water level is 10–20 cm above the hole. The optimal water level depends on how many people will be bathing. Excess water will overflow, and heating will take longer.
The volume of the tub is approximately 1,800 liters.
Heat the water to 35–37°C. Above 39°C the water is uncomfortably hot.
It is recommended to keep the insulated cover on the tub during heating, as it significantly affects heating time.
The normal heating time is about 2 hours.
Heating time depends on the dryness of the firewood and the water temperature. The water heats up approximately 18°C per hour.
Cold water settles at the bottom, so mix the water (e.g., with a sauna ladle) before entering the hot tub.
For water cleanliness, take a shower before bathing.
Be careful with fire and when moving around the hot tub.
If children use the hot tub, they must be carefully supervised. Even with minimal filling, the tub is quite deep.
Alcohol consumption and hot tub use together may create dangerous situations. Make sure that someone responsible is overseeing both the hot tub and the bathers.
Do not empty the hot tub until the fire in the stove is completely out. The stove will melt if it is not surrounded by water.
Do not allow the hot tub to freeze. Make sure to drain it. Remove the plug from both the tub and the stove.
Clean the hot tub with detergent, warm water, and a soft cloth after each use. Rinse thoroughly.
Then it’s ready for next time!
